The Crescent Girth
- Measurements are take from buckle to buckle. Please allow 1″ in to your normal girth due to the sheepskin.
- The buckles are elasticised with a small amount of “give” to allow your horse to be comfortable without the girth being over tightened.
- For horses with mostly short backs and wide ribcages and/or narrow chest. Think Arab Mare. The crescent firth shape gives ample room for the bulk of the ribcage and belly, hence the girth does not slide forwards towards the elbow region = no chaffing
